General Terms and Conditions

Last updated · November 2026

These terms apply to every offer, order, service and sale of Techity SRL. When you sign a contract or order form with us, that document and its annexes prevail over these terms.

Who we are

Techity SRL, Avenue Alfred Solvay 8, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort, Belgium. Company number BE 0768662246, VAT BE0768662246. Contact: hello@techity.io.

Your own general terms only apply if we accept them in writing.

Offers and orders

Our offers are valid for the period they state; quotes for hardware are valid for 7 days, because supplier prices and stock change quickly. An order is confirmed when you accept our offer in writing (an email is enough) or pay it online.

Duration of recurring services

Recurring services (Techity Managed 365, Techity Backup 365, network maintenance, web hosting and domain names) run for 12 months from their start date. They then renew automatically for periods of 12 months, unless either party ends them in writing at least two months before the end of the current period.

Prices

Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. The prices of the Techity Managed 365 plans are indexed once a year, on 1 January, in line with the consumer price index. Microsoft licences are invoiced at the publisher's recommended price in force at their renewal, plus an administration fee of €25 excl. VAT per year.

Invoicing and payment

  • Techity Managed 365 plans are invoiced monthly in advance; licences and other yearly services once a year in advance, at their renewal; one-off work at the time spent.
  • Invoices are payable within 30 days. You can pay by bank transfer or online through our payment provider Mollie (for example Bancontact or card). Card and bank details are entered on Mollie's secure pages; Techity never sees them.
  • Late payment automatically carries the interest and compensation provided by the Belgian law of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.
  • If a reminder remains unpaid for 15 days, we may suspend the services concerned, except the backup of your data.

Microsoft licences

Microsoft licences are subscribed for 12 months. Their number can go up at any time, pro rata, but can only go down at their renewal date. Their use is governed by the Microsoft Customer Agreement, which you accept when the licences are ordered.

Hardware

Hardware remains our property until it is paid in full. The manufacturer's warranty applies. If you buy as a consumer, you also have the legal guarantee of conformity of two years.

Our commitments and yours

We carry out our services with care, by qualified people, following the service levels of your contract. This is an obligation of means, not of result. Every change we make to your configuration is logged and documented.

You give us the administrator access we need, name a contact person, tell us promptly about arrivals, departures and incidents, and make sure your users follow the security rules (such as two-step sign-in) and the terms of use of Microsoft and the other providers.

Liability

Our liability is limited to direct damage and capped at the amount you paid for the service concerned in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for interruptions or failures of Microsoft's services or of other providers, nor for indirect damage such as loss of revenue, of data outside a Techity backup, or of reputation. No security measure can guarantee that no incident will ever happen.

Neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).

Confidentiality and personal data

Each party keeps the other party's information confidential during the contract and for five years after it ends. When we manage your systems, we process the personal data in them on your behalf, under the data processing agreement in our contract. How we handle our own data about you is described in our privacy policy.

Termination and end of the services

Either party may end the contract if the other seriously fails to meet its obligations and has not remedied this 30 days after a written notice.

When a service ends, we hand over the administrator access, remove our own access and, if you ask within 30 days, transfer your Microsoft licences and export your backed-up data. The backups are then deleted. Domain names registered for you are transferred to you without transfer fees.

If you are a consumer

If you buy as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection of Belgian law applies in addition to these terms, including the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days, except for services fully performed at your request and for goods made to your specifications.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Brussels, without prejudice to the mandatory rules that protect consumers.
